Lac du Flambeau Band joins effort to promote financial literacy
The Lac du Flambeau Tribe is part of a group that won a financial literacy award from the state of Wisconsin.
Zhoonyia Gikendasowin means "Money Knowedge" in the Ojibwe language.
The group helps tribal and non-tribal members with financial issues.
The group received a 2012 Wisconsin Financial Literacy Award.
