Boy in stable condition after being mauled by dogs on reserve

A six-year-old boy is in stable condition after being mauled by a pack of dogs on the Shamattawa First Nation in Manitoba.

The boy was attacked on his way to school. He suffered serious injuries but is expected to pull through, Chief William Miles said.

Miles said at least 100 dogs are roaming the reserve.
