Law firm sees jump in revenue thanks to Cobell settlement

Kilpatrick Townsend saw a 12.3 percent increase in revenue thanks to its role in the the $3.4 billion Cobell trust fund settlement.

A federal judge awarded $99 million in attorney's fees as part of the case. Some $85.3 million has already been paid to the firm, whose attorneys include Keith Harper, and to solo practitioner Dennis Gingold, Indian Country Today reported in March.

Another $13.6 million remains in dispute, with the firm arguing it is entitled to all of it.
