Goshute Tribes launch first health care facility off reservation

The Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation have opened the first off-reservation health facility in Utah, The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

The 3,800 square-foot Sacred Circle Health Care in downtown Salt Lake City will offer medical, dental and pharmacy services. The tribe is operating the facility under a self-determination contract from the Indian Health Service.

But the facility will be open to non-Indians too. The tribe can bill Medicaid, Medicare and private insurers.
