Editorial: Snoqualmie Tribe offers education with new trails

Washington newspaper praises Snoqualmie Tribe for opening two trails:
Two very exciting, educational trails have opened recently on Snoqualmie tribal land, and we cannot say enough about them.

Neither trail, which took about five years to create, is about endurance or challenging yourself physically.

The Traditional Knowledge Trail, near the casino, isn’t quite a one-third of a mile, and the Rain Garden is a winding walking path through the front yard of the Snoqualmie Tribe Environmental and Natural Resources Department. And yet both are so chock full of information, one could spend hours there without even realizing it.

We wrote about the Knowledge Trail, led by Heidi Bohan, who serves as cultural adviser to the Tribe and helped create both gardens.
