County discusses San Pasqual Band land-into-trust application

The San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians in California filed a land-into-trust application for 29 acres.

The tribe plans to use the land for offices, a medical clinic, a fire station, and a sports complex, The Valley Road Runner reported. The site is not far from tribal headquarters.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs is seeking comments from San Diego County. The county's Valley Center Planning Group met on Monday to discuss the application.
