Wyandotte Nation signs first tribal franchise deal with Sonic

The Wyandotte Nation is the first tribe to sign a franchise deal with the Sonic Drive-In company.

The tribe will open a Sonic in Seneca, Missouri, this fall. “This marks the first development agreement with a Native American tribe for the SONIC system," Bob Franke, the senior vice president of franchise sales and international development, said in a press release.

The tribe says the Sonic will help expand its economic opportunities.
