Washington football franchise considered third most valuable

The Washington professional football is worth an estimated $1.7 billion, Advertising Age reports.

The figure makes the team the third most valuable franchise in the NFL. But eliminating the team's racist mascot would likely cost less than $20 million, experts told Advertising Age.

The team is probably "delaying the inevitable," a public relations executive said.
