White House Tribal Nations Conference in D.C. on November 13

President Barack Obama will host the annual White House Tribal Nations Conference in Washington, D.C., on November 13.

Tribes are invited to send one representative to the meeting. Registrations can be submitted online at whitehouse.gov by November 1.

Obama has hosted the event every year since 2009. It takes place at the main Interior Department building.

"This will be the fifth White House Tribal Nations Conference for the Obama Administration, and continues to build upon the President’s commitment to strengthen the government-to-government relationship with Indian Country and to improve the lives of Native Americans," the White House said in a statement.
