Voters of Hopi Tribe narrow field for chairman and vice chairman

The Hopi Tribe of Arizona held a primary election on Wednesday.

Unofficial results show Herman Honanie and Todd Honyaoma Sr. leading the field for chairman, the Associated Press reported. Incumbent chairman Le Roy Shingoitewa, meanwhile, came in fourth so he won't be advancing to the general election.

The general election will be held November 20.
