Northern Cheyenne man sentenced to 30 months for assault

A member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe of Montana was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for assault.

Blayne Kyle Brady, 22, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault resulting in serious bodily injury. The victim in the case was blinded in one eye and lost some vision in his other eye.

The incident occurred in October 2012 on the Crow Reservation, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a press release.
