Senate Indian Affairs Committee schedules hearing on education





The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will hold an oversight hearing on early education in Indian Country next week.

Sen. Jon Tester (D-Montana), the new chairman of the committee, plans to make education a priority during his tenure. He is a former teacher.

The hearing will take place on February 26 at 2:30pm. A witness list hasn't been posted online.
