Mashantucket Tribe donates $40K from annual diabetes event

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut donated $40,000 to two diabetes organizations.
The tribe gave $20,000 to the Connecticut chapter of the American Diabetes Association and $20,000 to the Joslin Diabetes Center.
The money was raised during the tribe's recent Drive for Diabetes golf event.
