Audio from House committee hearing with DOI Secretary Jewell

Interior Secretary Sally Jewell testified before the House Natural Resources Committee this morning.

Jewell didn't spend much time on Indian issues in discussing the fiscal year 2015 budget request for the Interior Department. And with the exception of Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska), who asked about a controversial road for an Alaska Native village, there weren't many questions on Indian issues from committee members.

The hearing lasted about 2 hours and 45 minutes. The exchange with Young can be found at the beginning of Q&A Part 6 on the Indianz.Com SoundCloud.
