Two leaders of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe of Wyoming were removed for being disloyal, according to the man who led the charge against them.

Wade LeBeau said council members Ivan Posey and Wes Martel weren't putting the Shoshone people first. He accused them of caring too much about the Northern Arapaho Tribe.

"He was removed because he was not representing the the tribe as he should,” LeBeau told County10.Com of Posey. LeBeau said Martel has grandchildren who are members of the Northern Arapaho Tribe.

The two tribes share the Wind River Reservation though it was initially set aside solely for the Eastern Shoshone Tribe by the 1868 Fort Bridger Treaty. The tribes operate separate governments although they come together on a joint council.
