Citizen Potawatomi Nation ties flooding at center to city water

The Citizen Potawatomi Nation of Oklahoma said its Cultural Heritage Center will remain closed after suffering major water damage.

An abandoned water line in the city of Shawnee burst and flooded the facility on March 31. Chairman John Barrett said the city should have capped the line.

The city manager said insurance companies are looking into the matter.
