Couple pleads guilty in death of 11-month-old at Rocky Boy's

A man and a woman from the Rocky Boy's Reservation in Montana have pleaded guilty for the death of an 11-month-old boy.

Garrett “Kirby” LaFromboise pleaded guilty in April to count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury for the death of his son, Kaidynce Small. He was sentenced to 13 years in federal prison.

Cecilia Gardipee is due to plead guilty today to the same charge, according to news reports. Gardipee has been described as LaFromboise's girlfriend but is not the mother of Kaidynce.

Kaidynce was killed on the reservation on October 21, 2013.
