Cherokee Nation Businesses chooses executive vice president

Cherokee Nation Businesses has a new executive vice president as the search for a CEO continues.

Charles Garret is a member of the Cherokee Nation. He has been working at CNB since last fall.

“It’s an honor to serve the Cherokee people through job creation and providing the resources to support important social services such as health care, housing, education and more,” Garrett said, The Cherokee Phoenix reported.

CNB, the economic holding company of the Cherokee Nation, has been without a CEO for nearly two years. The Cherokee Phoenix said it hasn't been able to find out the status of the search despite repeated attempts.
