The Shivwits Band of Paiutes in Utah is already making plans to expand its new gas station and convenience store.

The See'Veets Eng store opened on February 1. It benefits from a steady flow of traffic along a well-traveled highway.

"Since the construction in the gorge, we get more traffic than usual," Chairwoman Jetta Wood told The St. George Daily Spectrum. "We opened just in time,"

The tribe plans to expand the facility with more gas pumps and a car wash. There's also talk of a recreational water park or campground.

See'Veets Eng means White Earth People in the Paiute language. The store features signs in the Paiute language.
