Sebastian Kessay, a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe, returned home to Arizona to host a baseball camp for youth.

Kessay, who was a star player in Arizona, pitches for the Tri-City Valley Cats of the New York-Penn League. He eventually hopes to make it to the majors.

“I always had one goal and I knew anything was possible because no one ever told me otherwise,” Kessay told The White Mountain Independent.

Major League Baseball boasts three Native players -- Joba Chamberlain, a member of the Winnebago Tribe who plays for the Detroit Tigers; Jacoby Ellsbury, a member of the Colorado River Indian Tribes, who plays for the New York Yankees; and Kyle Lohse, a member of the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, who plays for the Milwaukee Brewers.
