The McManus Art Gallery in Scotland is seeking the public's help in identifying the man who photographed a 1904 visit by William F. Cody, better known as Buffalo Bill.

The museum acquired the photos that were taken by S.W. Pritchard after they were put up for auction in Ohio earlier this year. One image shows Iron Tail, an Oglala Lakota chief, riding a horse.

Iron Tail was a part of Buffalo Bill's Wild West, a show that traveled around the world. It spend two days in August 1904 in Dundee, Scotland, where the museum is based.
