House set to vote on bill to transfer federal land to Te-Moak Tribe

The House is set to vote today on H.R.5205, the Northern Nevada Land Conservation and Economic Development Act.

The bill includes the Elko Motocross and Tribal Conveyance Act. It will transfer 373 acres from the Bureau of Land Management to the Te-Moak Tribe. The land will be placed in trust.

The bill will be considered under a suspension of the rules, according to the House majority leader's schedule.
