Two dozen indicted over vandalism at Berry Creek Rancheria

Two dozen people have been indicted in connection with a protest at the Berry Creek Rancheria in California.

The defendants are accused of vandalizing the offices of the Tyme Maidu Tribe. The May 16, 2013, incident was linked to disenrollment proceedings against more than 70 people.

Authorities say the defendants, who range in age from 19 to 71, brought tools, lumber and chicken wire to the tribal offices in a takeover attempt.
