Dry Creek Rancheria announces moratorium on disenrollments

The Dry Creek Rancheria of California announced a 10-year moratorium on disenrollments, KPIX reports.

The tribe has been removing dozens of people from the rolls over the past few years. The practice will stop for now but it's not clear whether anyone will be let back in.

"I think the light on it, the news reporting on it, I think it brings it to the light,” Carmen Cardoza, whose family was removed, told KPIX.
