Poarch Band sends another $750K to attorney general candidate

The Poarch Band of Creek Indians donated another $750,000 to political action committees in Alabama.

The money was immediately funneled to Joe Hubbard, a Democrat who is running for state attorney general. He previously received $250,000 from the tribe.

Hubbard, who serves as a state senator, wants to defeat incumbent Attorney General Luther Strange. Strange has claimed the state has authority on the reservation, an argument that has been rejected by the federal courts.
