Radio and entertainment legend Casey Kasem died on Sunday. He was 82.

Kasem died at a hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington, according to news reports. He had been in the state since early May and his children speculated that he had been taken to a reservation there, sparking a court investigation into his whereabouts.

The Colville Tribes even fielded a call from Inside Edition, The Tribal Tribune reported. He was eventually located, but at a home that wasn't on a reservation.

"Even though we know he is in a better place and no longer suffering, we are heartbroken," his daughter Kerri Kasem said on Facebook yesterday. "Thank you for all your love, support and prayers. The world will miss Casey Kasem, an incredible talent and humanitarian; we will miss our Dad."
