A new restaurant in Tucson, Arizona, will feature modern takes on traditional Native cuisine. Barrio Cuisine is owned by Kulbinder Gomez and her daughter, Shanti Gomez. She said the menu will be based on foods from the Tohono O’odham Nation and the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. The restaurant is slated to open in early October. Get the Story:
