President Bryan Brewer of the Oglala Sioux Tribe in South Dakota is back in office.

Brewer was suspended last month and was accused of taking actions without the consent of the tribal council. He also was accused of mishandling a $5,000 donation and getting involved in a tribal employment matter.

But after a hearing on Thursday, the council voted not to impeach Brewer. "It's strictly politics on this one here," he told KOTA Radio.
