The University of Colorado Law School will hold a symposium next month on tribal sovereign immunity.

Indian law practitioners and Indian law professors will discuss immunity in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Michigan v. Bay Mills Indian Community. In June, the justices confirmed that tribes can't be sued without their consent or without a waiver from Congress.

The conference takes place September 12 in Boulder.
