The sixth and final person was sentenced to federal prison for embezzling funds from a youth program operated by the Blackfeet Nation of Montana. Gary Joseph Conti, 68, was sentenced to five years and was ordered to pay $1.7 million in restitution. That was the harshest punishment for the six who were convicted for stealing from the Po’Ka Project. "An audit by the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Inspector General found the projected loss due to fraud and mismanagement at $4.6 million out of the $9 million provided to the Po'Ka Project from 2005 to 2011," the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a press release.
