The Mechoopda Tribe of California announced plans for a new headquarters and health clinic. The clinic will be a part of Northern Valley Indian Health, a consortium run by the Mechoopda Tribe and three other tribes. Construction is due to start in the spring and will wrap up in the summer of 2016. The headquarters will be located in a separate building at the site. A construction timeline wasn't reported. The headquarters and clinic will be located in an area of Chico known as Meriam Park. Get the Story:
