Scalped, a critically-acclaimed comic that was based on a fictional reservation, is being developed for a television series by WGN America.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported on the project a little over year ago. There hasn't been much news since then but Movie Pilot is making a pre-emptive strike by casting some of the main roles from the comic.

Adam Beach is envisioned as Dashiell "Dash" Bad Horse, the primary character. Wes Studi could take on the role of Chief Lincoln Red Crow, the leader of the fictional Prairie Rose Tribe.

Native women aren't left out in Movie Pilot's imagination. Irene Bedard could star as Gina Bad Horse, Dash's mother. And Q'orianka Kilcher is seen as Carol Ellroy, an old friend of Dash.
