Four young people were arrested at an event hosted by the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts.

Local police responded to a "large disturbance" at the 19th annual Wampanoag Ball on Saturday night, according to a press release. Four were charged with disorderly conduct at the event, which took place at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel in North Falmouth.

The four weren't identified but a tribal spokesperson said they were young Native people. “They’re all young kids of various tribes who have a lot of growing up to do,” the spokesperson said in a statement, The Boston Herald reported.

“This behavior is totally unacceptable and we pledge our complete and total cooperation with the ongoing investigation,” the statement read.
