The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation in North Dakota opened the doors to the seventh Boys and Girls Club on the reservation.

The first location opened in 2012. Since then, more than 1,600 young residents of the reservation have joined the Boys and Girls Club of the Three Affiliated Tribes and enjoyed after school programs, mentoring, leadership training and other activities.

"It turns education into fun," Shannon Nash, the manager of the new branch, told The Bismarck Tribune.

The club in Mandan opened its doors on April 1.
