First Shoshone-Bannock Tribes member earns doctoral degree

Cleve Davis is the first member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes to receive a Ph.D. in science, The Idaho Falls Post Register reports.

Davis received his doctoral degree from the University of Idaho. He was part of the school's Indigenous STEM Research and Graduate Education program.

Davis is now working for his tribe in the fish and wildlife department.
