The Oneida Nation of New York will host a fundraiser next month for Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio), The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.

The tribe has donated to Boehner, who serves as Speaker of the Republican-controlled House, in the past, the paper said. But the August 6 event will be the first major fundraising event it has hosted for the top lawmaker on its reservation.

The event takes place on August 6 at the Atunyote Golf Course. Donation amounts range from $150 to $1,500, the paper said.

The tribe spent $621,600 on politicians during the 2014 election cycle, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
