Photo from Narragansett Tribe Members of the Narragansett Tribe of Rhode Island protested on Monday after six council leaders were removed from office. The six were elected more than a year ago. But the results of the vote were invalidated last week due to alleged irregularities, WRPI-TV reported. “There were no irregularities,” Darlene Monroe, a member of the tribe's election committee and a leader of the protest, told the station. “With irregularities, you have to prove it.
