The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe is negotiating a second law enforcement agreement in Massachusetts.

The tribe is finalizing a memorandum of understanding with the town of Mashpee, The Cape Cod Times reports. The deal would address policing issues on the tribe's 170-acre trust property.

The tribe already has a similar deal in place with the city of Taunton. It covers the 151 acres that the Bureau of Indian Affairs placed in trust in September.
