Wilda Annie Manning, a member of the Ute Tribe of Utah, has been charged in connection with the death of a man on the reservation.

Manning, 49, was indicted on two of involuntary manslaughter. Federal authorities allege she struck and killed Steven Chet Goodrich, 25, on June 3, 2015.

The indictment alleges Manning was operating her vehicle while using a "controlled substance" and while using a cellular phone, both in violation of the law.

Goodrich was a street sweeper and was on the job when his vehicle was struck from behind in Randlett, a community on the reservation.

An arrest warrant was issued for Manning last month, according to Bureau of Indian Affairs police on the reservation.
