The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community of Minnesota announced the results of a council election that was held on Tuesday. Chairman Charlie Vig and Vice Chairman Keith B. Anderson won re-election to the council. For Secretary/Treasurer, tribal members elected newcomer Freedom Brewer. The tribe will hold a swearing-in ceremony on January 31. Get the Story:
