Look To The Sky
By Carly McIntosh

To: Missing and Murdered Aboriginal Women Of Canada

As I look into the waters,
I wait slowly as time goes by.
I have to say that I never believed
I would be here, watching my son from the sky.....

While watching my son look to the sky,
I feel alone and cry.
I miss my family every day,
Not having the chance to say my final good bye...

As I wait with all my sisters,
We hold each other near.
When we feel a growth in sudden pain
Red roses are placed in fear.....

Day by day is hard enough,
I feel alone and cry.
I wish I could hold my family close;
Not having to look down at them from the sky......

You wonder why that nothing has been done,
You feel alone inside.
It makes you feel to be the one,
Where nothing at all will be solved and done.......

While watching my son look to the sky,
I feel alone and cry.
I miss my family every day,
Not having the chance to say my final good bye...

When I look down at my family,
They never give up hope.
Except when I am the only one who knows where I am,
I just pray that they have the inner strength to cope......
