Authorities in Alberta, Canada, are investigating a double homicide that occurred on the Whitefish Lake First Nation. Dylan Laboucan, 17, and Cory Grey, 19, were shot and killed sometime in the last week. Their bodies were found in separate well sites on the reserve, CBC News reported. The families of the young couple said they tried to report them as missing on Sunday but were told by authorities to wait. Laboucan's body was found on Monday and Grey's on Tuesday, CBC reported. "They were inseparable," Laboucan's father, Leo, told CBC. "They were going to leave the reserve and go start a life with their education that they obtained. And that's cut short now." Compounding the families' grief was the fact that authorities were on the reserve on Saturday night after Laboucan had been found unconscious outside his family's home. Sometime after that, he disappeared. "It's like, I don't know, like they didn't care," Louis Grey, Cory's father, told CBC.
