Chippewa Cree family lays young loved one Reece Morsette to rest

Reece Troy Morsette, a 15-year-old member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe of Montana, was laid to rest on Monday.

According to news reports, Morsette suffered a seizure while playing basketball on the Rocky Boy's Reservation on Thursday. Efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful, The Havre Daily News reports.

Morsette's Indian name was Blue Thunderbird Boy, according to his obituary. He loved playing sports, riding horses and participating in rodeos, his family said.

A cause of death hasn't been officially disclosed, The Havre Daily News reported.
