Cherokee Nation sends six veterans on third annual Warrior Flight to DC

The Cherokee Nation held a send-off on Monday for the third annual Warriors Flight to Washington, D.C.

Six veterans -- two from World War II and four from the Korean War -- are participating in this year's journey. They will spend three days visiting memorials and monuments in the nation's capital.

This year's participants, with ages reported by News on 6, are :
World War II Army Veteran Robert Wisenhunt, 99
World War II Navy Veteran Cruce Lansford, 90
Korean War Air Force Veteran George Dewayne Johnston, 85
Korean War Air Force Veteran Robert Alberty, 84
Korean War Air Force Veteran Charles Ray Seabolt, 87
Korean War Navy Veteran Donald Summers, 83
