Tribal college graduate overcomes adversity

Robyn Pepion, a member of the Blackfeet Nation of Montana, never finished high school. But this Friday, she is receiving a degree from the United Tribes Technical College in North Dakota. Pepion, a single mother, escaped an abusive relationship to enroll and finish college. She is graduating with a degree from the injury prevention program. She found the program a natural fit and is now speaking out against domestic violence. Pepion plans to go into nursing and help abuse victims. Get the Story:
