Oneida families fight eviction from homes
Wednesday, August 13, 2003

Oneida Nation families who are being evicted from their homes are seeking intervention from the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals.

The tribe plans to destroy the homes of four families by August 20. The tribe says the homes are unsafe.

The families contend they are the victims of retaliation because they have opposed tribal representative Ray Halbritter.
