Skinheads lose appeal of civil rights convictions
Wednesday, August 27, 2003

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday refused to overturn the convictions of a Montana skinhead group that targeted Native Americans and other minorities.

Six members of the Montana Front Working Class Skinheads were convicted in November 2001 of violating the civil rights of minorities. At trial, two members said they earned respect by beating up "prairie niggers," their word for Native Americans, in a local park.
