The Bureau of Indian Affairs has extended by 60 days the public comment period on a land-into-trust decision for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut.

The tribe is seeking to acquire 87 acres in Ledyard. Town leaders are opposing the request and sought the extension.
