Calvin Tom, 21, entered a no contest plea to a charge of second-degree murder in New Mexico state court.

Tom is accused of killing Charles Guerrero, 48, in January 2002 at a motel in Aztec. A codefendant, Chris Bitsilly, was found guilty by a jury.
