Native-owned business wins $30M federal contract

Arrowhead Global Solutions, a Native-owned technology firm, has been awarded a $30 million, 10-year federal contract from the Federal Aviation Administration to provide satellite communication systems to airports.

Mary Ann Elliot founded Arrowhead in 1991. She says she is a member of the Tuscarora tribe of North Carolina.

Based in McLean, Virginia, Arrowhead projects $70 million in sales this year and $100 million in sales next year.
